We plan the working days with 3 to 4 hour shifts at a time. You will have at least 2 shifts per day, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the Summit. The majority of the shifts run from just before the start of the conference (around 7.30 AM), and a few shifts require arriving earlier to set things up.
Unfortunately, Hack can’t cover your travel and accommodation. There’s plenty of accommodation available in New York, and you’re welcome to team up with other volunteers to rent a flat in Brooklyn. Hack will provide you with plenty of innovative food and drinks during your shifts and an original HACK t-shirt.
You will be wearing your HACK tshirt that you will receive. Proper shoes that are ok to work and walk on for several hours and a clean pair of pants.
